Special cationic polyester chips have excellent moisture absorption capabilities, capable of absorbing 1.5 times their own weight in moisture, far exceeding the 0.7 times capacity of traditional polyester chips. Production Process

The production process of special cationic polyester chips mainly consists of two steps:

Step One: Production of Polyester Chips Polyester chips are produced through a melt spinning process. First, the polyester resin is melted, then extruded into fibers through a spinneret, and finally made into polyester chips through stretching and cooling processes.

Step Two: Introduction of Cationic Groups During the production process of polyester chips, cationic monomers such as butyl acrylate and acrylate are added to the polyester melt. During the polymerization process, the cationic monomer links with the polyester to form cationic polyester chips.

Application Fields

Clothing Field Special cationic polyester chips can be mixed with regenerated polyester chips or high-luster yarns at a ratio of 40%-50% to spin short fibers suitable for various clothing fabrics such as shirts, sweaters, suits, down jackets, etc. Special cationic polyester chips can also be blended and dyed with acrylic fibers and wool for use in electrostatic flocking, blended wool, imitation deerskin velvet, synthetic wool, etc.

Home Textile Field Special cationic polyester chips can be used to make various home textile products such as bedding, curtains, carpets, etc.

Industrial Field Special cationic polyester chips can be used to make various industrial products such as air filter materials and anti-static materials.
